Introduction: 

The BEVS 2801H Scratch Tester is used to evaluate the scratch resistance of single or composite coating systems for insulating coated panels. The scratch resistance of a coating is assessed by whether a steel needle breaks the coating or not, or by the maximum load at which the needle does not break the coating under a certain weight.
